Thank you to everyone who turned out last Thursday night to support the first ever Get Set Kids charity ladies night at the Xcel Centre in Newton Aycliffe.  There were queues to get in and the car park was packed – over 350 people attended and were treated to dancers, House of Fraser fashion show, 40 shopping stalls, cakes, wine and a fantastic raffle and auction.  Our local MP Phil Wilson kindly came along to open and support the event as well as Amy McConnell from TFM’s breakfast show and Linsey Wood from Cash For Kids, our chosen charity.  The money is still coming in but we’re over the £1600 mark to give to the charity – a huge thank you from Ally and Emma at Get Set Kids for your support – we’ll definitely be organising another one!
